The Echuca Moama Youth Expo was held at the Echuca College Gym. Students from Year 7-10 will attended the Expo for 45 minutes, to browse around the forty plus stalls gaining information on organisations that provide a service for youth in our local area including health and wellbeing services, sport clubs and community groups. Each student received a show bag for their collection of brochures, information flyers and giveaways. There were musical performances throughout the day and an art exhibition showcasing the talents of our young people. Competitions included a ‘People’s Choice’ for the artwork displayed and a scavenger hunt style quiz with great prizes. The Expo has been a collaborative project between the five schools (Echuca College, St Joseph’s College, Moama Anglican Grammar, Echuca Specialist School and River City, Christian College), the Year 10 Beacon Leaders, a working party and facilitated and funded by Campaspe Cohuna Local Learning and Employment Network CCLLEN.
