All Year 8, 9 and 10 students attended the Youth expo. The Expo will featured an art exhibition of student’s work with a People’s Choice competition being won by Fletcher Kelly with his amazing painting of ‘The Joker’. A collaborative piece by Leah Kempster and Tom Harris that can be described as a sunglasses reflection photo wone second prize.
Amos Farrell won the APBFit planking competition with his amazing eight minute plank. He won a one month open training membership to the APB Fit training studio. There is also a Writing Competition to report on the Expo, with great prizes, that is still open to students.
The Youth Expo aims to encourage young people to access and engage with local services and increase participation in the sporting and community groups and be aware of options for volunteering. This is a proactive strategy to develop Echuca Moama as a connected and supportive place to live and grow up in. The Expo is organised by Campaspe Cohuna LLEN (Local Learning Employment Network) and funded by the Shire of Campaspe.
