The Echuca College Year 10 Photography students were lucky enough to accompany the VET Music students on an excursion to Melbourne. The photography students attended the Dreamworks exhibition at ACMI in Federation Square where they were shown the design process to obtain moving images. The students enjoyed the large circular screen which gave a 3D effect of motion and tried out their drawing skills on state of the art drawing tablets. Many students used the street art present in Hosier and Rutledge Places as a source of inspiration for their images. We then moved on to PSC, a tertiary provider of photography degree courses in Southbank, where students were able to see the work , facilities and results from students who have worked for several years to perfect their craft. By the time students had taken more photographic opportunities tiredness was setting in and it was time to head back to Echuca.
