Well done to Katelyn Haitsma Yr 10 and Jamie Peta-Bond Yr 9, these two girls definitely impressed their audience at Glanville Aged Care.  They sang some amazing songs including; Let It Be, Tears in Heaven, Ring of Fire, and Amazing Grace, just to name a few.

Janette Camuit the Child Development Coordinator from Family Day Cay at Intereach sent the following note of appreciation.

“We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you for taking time out to join our Intergenerational play session at Glanville this morning.

Jamie and Katelyn’s choice of repertoire was ideal, catering to all age groups.

We are constantly reflecting on different ways to engage the residents. We have had craft sessions, gardening, cooking but I can honestly say this morning’s session was the most moving and heart- warming of all.  It was lovely to see residents tapping their feet and clapping their hands, particularly those with limited communication.  It was visibly evident the children, Educators and team at Glanville were very much captivated by your voices.

Thank you for spreading the gift of music and bringing a little joy to our play session.”
