On Thursday April 19th our intermediate girls football team travelled to Nathalia to compete against other local schools in our area. The girls showed an enormous appetite for bone jarring tackles throughout the day led by Hollie Davidson, Rylea De Merlo and Courtney Thompson. As the day went on intercept marking and classy ball use out of the backline was on full display from Kallahrney Turner, Rewa O’Brien and Jackie Taylor. During the last 2 games, the girls started to really gel and battered the forward line with Erin Blachford and Kasey Conder having a presence.

With all games done, the intermediate girls finished second overall having won 3 and narrowly loosing one game for the day. Hollie Davidson was a standout for the day with her fierce tackling and kicking all of the teams 9 goals. Well done to all those who represented our school on the day.
