On Thursday the 22nd of June the intermediate boys travelled over to Moama to compete in SSVC football competition. The first game was played against the eventual winners of the competition St Josephs College. The boys put up a good fight going down 6.2.38 to 3.1.19. The second game was played against Kyabram P-12. Some good ball movement and great defensive pressure allowed the boys to take out the game 4.4.28 to 2.5.17. In the cross over game we played St Marys. The quick ball movement from both teams allowed big scores, but we were able to take out the win 10.4.64 to 8.1.43.
MVP for the day was James Whitehead. He was strongly supported by Cooper Arkinstall, Cohen Betts and Brayden Nevett.
Best goal celebration for the day went to Mitch Hewes.
