Matthew Hore, Brayden Nevett and James Whitehead represents the Murray and Goulburn Campaspe teams at the Bendigo Pioneers VLine Cup in Mildura.
The boys were selected to represent the Academy in February. They had to attend a physical test in Shepparton and have been attending weekly trainings from March. Academy sessions have incorporated sessions with Lindsay Gilbee Kicking Academy (elite kicking specialists) and an information with Jake Edwards from Outside the Locker Room.
After a strong first up win against Central Murray in Echuca and a narrow two point loss against Bendigo Blue in Bendigo the Academy team contested two games last week in Mildura as part of the Pioneers VLine Cup selection trials.
The team has been very successful throughout the campaign with the following results:
