On Friday, students from Melbourne University’s Engineers Without Borders came to teach our Year 7 & 8’s some of the practical things that engineers around the world do to support communities. Our students were given two challenges which included designing and creating a house that could float in flood waters and a vehicle to transport goods and people for emergency health care. Todays workshop was run by Eleanor Denson, a former Echuca College student and 2013 Dux who is currently completing her last year of her Engineering Degree.
