The 2019 Echuca Moama Youth Expo will be held at the Echuca College Stadium on the 11th September for students in Year 8 to 10.  This event is similar to the successful expos held in 2013, 2015 and 2017.

Description of the event: an exhibition of the youth, health and welfare services and community groups in the Echuca/Moama area, in a market style with entertainment of music performances and an art exhibition. 1000 secondary students will attend the Expo in year levels, at a designated time slot of 60 min and mingle around the exhibitions collecting information and engaging with the presenters.

Goal: to improve the wellbeing, education and training of our young people so they can successfully complete Year 12 or equivalent.

Objectives:

  • To inform our young people of the health and welfare services and support networks available to them in their local area and how to access them.
  • To provide opportunities for all young people to be connected with the community by making them aware of sporting, community groups and options for volunteering and encourage greater participation in these groups.
  • To showcase the local artistic and musical talents of our young people.
