The Echuca Moama Youth Expo will be held on Friday September 11 from 10:00am to 2:30pm at the Stubberfield Centre. All students from Years 8, 9 and 10 will be attending. The exhibition will include youth, health and welfare services and community groups in the Echuca/Moama area. The day will be presented in a market style with entertainment of music performances and an art exhibition. Students will attend the Expo in year levels, at a designated time slot of 55 min and mingle around the exhibitions collecting information and engaging with the presenters.
The goal of the expo is to improve the wellbeing, education and training of our young people so they can successfully complete Year 12 or equivalent.
The objectives of the expo are;
- – to inform our young people of the health and welfare services and support networks available to them in their local area and how to access them.
- – to provide opportunities for all young people to be connected with the community by making them aware of sporting, community groups and options for volunteering and encourage greater participation in these groups.
- – to showcase the local artistic and musical talents of our young people.
