Parents and students are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with a Course Counsellor to discuss their students program for 2017.   The appointments will enable students, parents and a counsellor to have a conversation in regards to subject selections and possible career paths.  All students must complete their Career Action Plan prior to meeting with a counsellor, this plan helps students to outline their career goals and also records all students qualifications and achievements.

Another useful source of information is Coursesearch, it is a computerised program that allows students to key in proposed VCE subjects. Students can then obtain a printout of relevant tertiary and TAFE courses available to them. Coursesearch is available on the VTAC website (

Students should take advantage of any career and course related opportunities that arise, including Open Days. A list is available at Students will be notified of these on the daily bulletin and on the Echuca College Website. 

Students interested in studying a VETiS certificate in 2017 must attend the VETiS information Night on the 25th of July at 7pm at the Echuca College stadium.
