The students demonstrated all of Echuca College’s PRIDE values at today’s Courage to Care presentation, where they listened to a Holocaust survivor share their story and participated in a workshop about being an “upstander”. The students also visited the Turkish Mosque and Cultural Centre, in Mooroopna, where they learned about the Islamic faith and had their questions answered by the Imam.

Judy’s story was inspiring and left us with a lot knowledge of what really happened and how the people reacted. It was a lot of smaller people trying to make a bigger difference- Holly & Cass

I find it interesting how religion and traditions are carried through to the modern era today – Riley
