Our team has arrived in Siem Reap and have explored this buzzing city and its eclectic offerings by tuk tuk. They have the purchased donations at the Old Market. They enjoyed a traditional Khmer meal and soaked up the evening atmosphere in Siem Reap including a visit to the Angkor Night Market.
Day one included a cycle exploration of the local village to discover the village way of life. On the way they stopped off at the pagoda school, here our students conducted some activities such as: teaching English lesson, English song and some tried to learn the Khmer language.
Day two saw our team travel approximately 40km northeast to the remote school, Sreivibolker Primary school. Today they will begin to build two wooden classrooms as for a donation to kindergarten children in the remote village. Our team has raised over $7000 to donate to various organisations, schools and villages in Cambodia. We look forward to hearing more about their adventure.
