Col Pearse arrived home from Darwin with some impressive achievements from the National School Sports Victoria Swimming Carnival. 

Col swam 9 personal best times (from 9 individual swims) .
He won the following medals: - Bronze in the Boys 13-15 MC 200m Freestlye - Bronze in the Mixed 13-15 MC 200m 4x50m Freestyle Relay - Silver in the Boys 13-19 500m 10x50m Freestyle Relay
He was awarded the School Sports Australia Individual Record for the following swims: (All Boys 13-15 Multi Class/Swimmer with Disability)
50m Butterfly; with a time of 31.76 (previously 33.03)
100m Butterfly; with a time of 1:13.14 (previously 1:27.50)
100m Free; with a time of 1:04.82 (previously 1:07.55)
200m Freestyle; with a time of 2:22.16 (previously 3:17.09)
100m Backstroke; with a time of 1:15.97 (previously 1:16.24)

From the times swam, he is eligible to apply (and has done) for three Australian Multi Class Long Course Records for the 13 years and under S10 category. These times make him the fastest swimmer of these three races in Australia, for his age and classification!! The swims are: - 200m Freestyle; with a time of 2:22.16 (previously 2:23.21) - 50m Butterfly; with a time of 31.76 (previously 32.84) -100M Butterfly; with a time of 1:13.14 (previously 1:13.20)
