Students were up early to make their way to Monash University for an information session on possible pathways and an experience of life as a university student. We were surprised to find out that the Clayton campus of Monash has over 30,000 students and will soon be a 24 hour campus, with a cinema, restaurants and supermarket. From here we travelled to the MCG for a tour of the ground and the National Sports Museum. We got to spend some time competing against each other in the interactive Game On area, where we tested our reflexes, coordination and teamwork skills. We then went to the VIS and spent time with Junior World Cycling Champion Alex Morgan. He spoke to us about what it takes to be a professional athlete and his path to (hopefully) Olympic team selection.
