A very successful day of soccer with the team of only 11, led by Captain Kylie Thompson aiming for a place in the State Final. The first game against Bendigo Senior Secondary College went 2:1 our way. Both goals were scored from penalty kicks by Brittany and Natalie Sands.

The second game was against Swan Hill and as the girls gained confidence they pushed more and more of their defence into the midfield and piled on the goals winning 6:1. Three goals to Brittany Sands and 3 goals to Sarah Taylor. Special thanks to the girls who volunteered to be goalies in the second game Hailey and Lauren.

The Intermediate Boys team played in Bendigo after winning the Campaspe event. The first game resulted in a convincing 5- 1 set win over Swan Hill College with Jordan Dalziel, Kyal Accurso and Matt Hilet winning both their singles and doubles matches. Laurence Pontejos and Aaron Fleischer were in a winning doubles combination.

It was then time to take on the might of Bendigo Senior Secondary College with Jordan playing particularly well to take his game to extra points only to lose 21-23.

Echuca College 5 sets defeated Swan Hill College 1.

Echuca College 0 sets lost to Bendigo Senior Secondary College 6.
